Change of plans
After convincing ourselves it was a waste of time and energy to have Gabriel allergy tested, we have reconsidered.
We originally thought, “we already know he’s allergic to eggs, and the tests are only 50% accurate, why bother?” We’ll, here’s why: he’s apparently allergic to more than just eggs. π
He has reacted to wheat (maybe gluten) and possibly peanuts. Not nearly as strongly as he did with eggs, but enough of a reaction for me to worry about. So, I called and scheduled an allergy test for him over midwinter break. Hopefully it gives us accurate and useful information so we can better protect him and help him grow up healthy and strong.
He is growing into such funny boy. It’s hard to believe that he’s only 1, he’s growing up way too fast.
