TJ is 6!!
This is my first born. I waited for 4 years for this little boy to join our family. He challenges me daily. To be a better mom. To deal with the highs and the lows. To learn new ways of explaining things (like: keep that out of your mouth!) He was my easy baby. When he was an infant, I thought, “why do parents complain about being tired….TJ sleeps 4-6 hours at a stretch”. He’s inquisitive and love to do things that he shouldn’t “because I want to!”. He gets all the cool new gadgets we can get him (to help us deal with his Blood sugars). And he loves his little brother. He is daddy’s biggest helper and our comedian. I can never get over the funny positions he sleeps in! We have had to re-learn how to take care of him and he led us into a whole new world of friends, both online and in person. It’s been quite an emotional roller coaster with this boy! But we’ve learned to roll with the punches and keep a smile on our faces. To find joy in the little things, Take more breaks for jelly beans and learn new ways to enjoy the things we love. His current favorites are: the color orange, Legos, reading books online, and hugging the people he loves. He is my sweet boy (when he’s not torturing his brother) He really enjoyed his Birthday trip to Disneyland! Especially Splash Mountain! (love that expression) He was willing to ride every ride (unlike his dad). 😉 And really enjoyed (once he warmed up to them) visiting with family there too. 🙂 I’m so glad God blessed us with this challenging little boy! He was worth the wait! and I can’t wait to see what all of his inquisitiveness leads him to!
