Pumpkin Patch 2013

This is one of my favorite posts to share, I look forward to it all year.  🙂  The awesome pumpkin patch photos and the pumpkin carving excitement.  So here goes.

We went to our local pumpkin patch again and had lots of fun!

The boys had lots of fun playing in the mud (notice G’s wet pant leg?) and pumpkins.

They were far more interested in the mud than they were in posing for pictures. 😉

We found a couple really cool pumpkins too! This one is a Cinderella Pumpkin (it’s red!)

They love hunting for the perfect pumpkin!

And getting rides in the wheelbarrow!

TJ thought he was strong enough to push the wheelbarrow, but had trouble before it even had anything in it. J

We had lots of fun.

And took lots of pictures!

We were very happy that it didn’t rain on us this year.

But we got there so late we didn’t get to do anything but pick out our pumpkins before we had to rush off to swim lessons.

I was a little sad that we didn’t get a “whole family” shot, but we got lots of nice pictures of everyone (even if we weren’t all in one together)

There had been so little rain up until this trip that I didn’t expect it to be muddy.

Boy was I wrong! The boys were in boots, but Tony and I had on tennis shoes and they got muddy!

Tony took a break to clean his shoes before we bought our pumpkins. 😉

My original plan when I sat down tonight was to combine two fun Fall activities in one blog, but as usual this blog is already too long and is full of pictures, so, I’ll have to save the pumpkin carving fun for another post. J

  1. I know what you mean! Pumpkin patch pictures are the best. And it looks like you really got blessed with a sunny day. That’s one of the reasons we held out for so much of October, I was waiting for a sunny day, too! As it turned out we waited a little too long.

Very cute! I love the one of you, Mary – you look so pretty!

    • Thanks. 🙂
